Visit the Land of Côte de Beaune and taste its wines
Focus on the Vineyards and the Wines of the Côte de Beaune. Visit the locations where the wines are born and taste in a comparison tasting the wines born in the Côte de Beaune. We will visit the Corton Hill, Beaune, Pommard, Volnay, Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet, Chassagne Montrachet. Each village will teach a particular detail. You will learn about the valleys, the positions of the slope, the recognition of the soil types, the importance of currents, the microclimate. All these details will be part of the taste of the wines and you will be able by the end of the course to learn balance the factors in order to choose your perfect match of Burgundy Wine. After the visit of the Côte de Beaune, we will be back in class for a comparative tasting of 8 wines made in the Côte de Beaune. The comparative tasting will have an example of the places we visited, the level of the wines will be from various parts of the slope, including Regional, Village, Premier and Grand Cru wines, various vintages, various brands.
This class takes place every day from Monday to Friday ( March to November, August closed). The cost per person is 750 euros. The class starts from One single Guest and up to 4 guests.

10 am starting at the School with a 2h Theory class aka Understanding Burgundy class
12 pm Lunch Break ( not included)
2 pm Visit of Corton Hill vineyards with villages of Aloxe, Pernand, Savigny and Beaune
3 pm Visit of Pommard, Volnay villages and vineyards
4 pm Visit of Meursault and Puligny vineyards
5 pm back to the tasting room for comparative tasting of Côte de Beaune Wines
6 pm end of Côte de Beaune day
