History, Classifications, Politics, Economics, Viticulture, Winemaking Burgundy AOCs in white or red from various places, bottom of the slope, mid slope or top of the slope, from a slope with more soil or closer to the rock, from a colder or warmer location, from a raising rockstar grower or a famous rockstar grower, a tasting exercise to understand not just labelling but to be able to rely further on your own tasting buds. Comparative wine tasting ( minimum 6 wines) from the 5 subregions of Burgundy, from Regional to Grand Cru, White and Red. 3 Hours Exploring Burgundy - From One Single Guest, Available Monday to Friday, morning from 9h30 am to 12h30 pm, Book ahead via email - firstname.lastname@example.org -you will first be introduced to the History of Burgundy Wines, Classifications, economics, politics, the various tools one can use to built a lifetime Burgundy knowledge and responding to all your questions. Comparative tasting of the whites & reds of the Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits. Visit the villages in order to understand the multitude of variables composing their unique personality (visualise the scale of an AOC, the position linked to classification and the map you are holding in your hands, the influence of the geography, understanding the combes, touching the soil and compare the rocks found in various villages. We will visit from Pommard or Corton Hill. Documents provided: a complete guide of Burgundy Wine Producers to visit with or without appointment the following days, detailed map of the Côte de Beaune, Terroir document.

4h Exploring the Burgundy Vineyards, From 2 guests, Monday to Friday, morning from 9 am to 1 pm, Book ahead via email - email@example.com -Learning is the key word, showing you the pieces of the Burgundy Puzzle, the terroir, the history, the growers input, the plant, the know how. You get to see, touch, feel, taste, hear and enjoy a great day that will stay with you for the future. Wine course presentation of Burgundy Region at our Beaune Office. Comparative tasting of 12 wines, White Chardonnay and Red Pinot Noir from Côte de Beaune & Côte de Nuits in various Qualities from the most simple Regional AOC to the most complex Grand Cru AOC. Visit of the vineyard locations in Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits, understanding the scale and the variation linked to the position. We will visit together the AOC composing the Côte de Beaune from Puligny Montrachet to Corton Hill. Included documents as support for your future Burgundy adventures, including easy to access wine producers & applications for wines & vineyards of Burgundy. You get to taste an example of each AOC visited from regional to grand cru in both Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

8 Hours split in two mornings of 4 hours each, 2 participants minimum, Monday to Friday, 9 am to 1 pm. Day 1: 9 am to 1 pm, Côte de Beaune – 4 hours – Intensive Côte de Beaune Exploration - Understanding the wines of the Côte de Beaune by tasting and visiting the locations of the AOC composing the subregion. Visit of the 8 Grand Cru Sites situated in Puligny Montrachet and Corton Hill. Visit of the mid slope vineyards in between Corton Hill and Chassagne Montrachet : Ladoix, Aloxe, Beaune, Pommard, Volnay, Meursault, Puligny, Chassagne. Reading the Landscape, focusing on subsoil, soil, “combes”, exposure to the sun, etc. Visualising the AOC Wines as an Entity with tangible images and examples. Part of day one – a comparative tasting of Whites – defining minerality coming from “soft” or “hard” subsoil – giving you references of taste related to a place. A Comparative tasting of reds of the Côte de Beaune in relationship with the reds of the Côte de Nuits. Differences and similarities. Impact of vintage in the taste of a white/ red in Côte de Beaune. Day 2: 9 am to 1 pm, Côte de Nuits – Intensive Exploration of the Côte de Nuits -Visit of the 24 Grand Cru Locations in between Vosne Romanée and Gevrey Chambertin. Comparison tastings of a diversity of wines from Côte de Nuits. Visit to villages like : Nuits Saint Georges, Vosne Romanée, Vougeot, Chambolle, Morey, Gevrey. Zoom inside each AOC visited. Relate the map to the ground and to the taste profile of each wine. Relationship inbetween the wine of the Côte de Nuits & Côte de Beaune.
